Time for a new post (after 3 months)! (:

A lot of things have happened - new friends made, gained trust, lost trust, thought a lot, changed a lot, realised a lot.

I was reading my old posts (inspiration from Elaine!) yesterday and I'm amazed at how much I've changed in a short span of only 1 year and 1 month. And in this period of time I only have 20 blog posts - - (excluding this one).

Life's been hectic, and real busy; sleeping late, chionging work, ah goodness knows what else. Term 3's gonna be worse, but I'm going to face it with an open mind, open heart, and of course optimism! I've been happier than I thought I'd be. (: That's a relief I guess!

I realise I act really differently in front of different people, to the extent that impressions of me have been contrasting. Ah wells I guess everyone's like that.

On a second note, school's starting tomorrow ahhhhhhh. Time to face reality, and to put behind some things! Will try to stay as happy as I can, and at the same time make new friends, and continue to stay in touch with friends whom I won't be able to see that often! (:

OBS WAS ♥.
301 IS ♥.

These 5 days at Pulau Ubin has been really really fun - kayaking, trekking, high elements, outdoor cooking, pitching, sleeping, eating etc. etc., but it has really bonded 301'10 as a whole class! :D It was such a joyvious experience (hee insider joke)!

Special thanks to Sui Sen for having been so supportive of each other all the while, and not to forget Barker for helping us! :D

AND OF COURSE OUR WONDERFUL INSTRUCTOR NICHOLAS AND THE NICE NICE NICE ASSISTANT HUI JING! :D

Learnt a lot these few days, shall elaborate further later on.

On a side note, Nicholas needs to learn more songs hahahhaa!

The rest of this post is continued a few days after writing the above.

I just deleted what I wrote previously down there, 'cause I find it irritating to list every single thing I've done during OBS. (:

I miss OBS. A lot a lot.
I can just talk for it hours on end, listing all the stupid things I've done, and all the first times at OBS.

Stupid Things I've Done during OBS

Reminiscing and singing random songs all the way from school to Punggol Jetty. Examples include Spongebob Squarepants Theme Song (which I finally figured out the lyrics to), Campfire song (which I still don't get except for the C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E-S-O-N-G song part), The Powerpuff Girls Theme song etc. etc. OMG I feel so old. (:
Pulling the kayak back to normal state just before Jiani and I capsized it during the capsizing drill because our rescue boat (Yi Yan and Tiffany heehee) piaoed away~
Nagging at Jiani like siao during sea expedition before she told me to shut up hahaa. Can't believe I can master the art of nagging. :D
Bathing in the disgusting toilet of Camp 2 and making Yi Jun wait while trying to wear my pants because I couldn't find the "pant hole".
Trekking with the terribly heavy bagpack containing the tent that made me bend like 90°.
Attempting to squat down with the super heavy bagpack and ending up falling backwards like I was a turtle lying on my shell with my four limbs in the air. -.-
Singing super weird songs out of tune together with Tian Jiao and Yi Yun during land expedition.
Eating two servings of maggi mee + one whole orange and still feeling hungry. :D
Asking Nicholas whether it was possible to get a butt abrasion.
Squatting in a row with 5 other people and peeing while looking straight. 8D
Trying to put antiseptic cream on my butt while my tent mates were going to sleep.
Teaming up with the tallest person in class (JIEYING) for height elements when I was the shortest hahahahahaa.
Squinting so much while belaying such that my eyebrows ached like siao after that. -.-
Running over to Jing Yi and Wan Li after they completed the DDD without my helmet. ._.
Walking around with my helium voice and imitating Auntie Lucy (which failed of course)
Pouring the maggi mee into the drain with Elaine.
Acting like jail convicts with Rachelle.

OMG I think there are still more but I'm lazy to list them out. :D

Ah I love SUISEN AND BARKER and Nicholas and Hui Jing and Cecilia and Jessica ♥.

More updates next time when I finally feel un-lazy and when my brain is working more normally.

My head is hurting from listening to 4h of emcee scripts just now.
Notice how incoherent this post is. :D

This weekend is really hectic.
PILES OF WORK UNDONE AND DUE TOMORROW. ):

At least in the upcoming week, there'll be a 213 reunion ♥ and OBS ♥! :D
I'm really looking forward to OBS! (:

I hope 213 reunion ♥ will be a blast woohoo; can't wait to meet up with 213-ers! I miss them like siao la, especially those whom I don't get to see often like Xin Yi, Shihui, Laolao, Daphne, Chunzi etc. 'cause their classrooms are on the second floor. ):

LET'S SPAZSXSX LIKE WE'VE NEVER DONE BEFORE ON THE REUNION DAY KAY. 8D

Anyway, 301's quite fun haha! :D Not too muggerish, and can high high high high! (Although I haven't exactly been in class for the past few weeks~)

OH YEA COSMOPOLI10 ON 25 FEBRUARY 2010 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!
Everyone was really focused, remembered our cues and shocked the audience with our wonderful coordination whee! ^^
It's really short and sweet hurhur, and I believe all of us had fun during NYSL item!
All the time spent on practising for the NYSL item really wasn't gone to waste! (: Every single second was worth it!

I've been addicted to this song for the past few days teehee; stumbled upon it one day when I was listening to 疯了 by 阿桑 (which I also stumbled upon). :D
This song has emo lyrics which I like, and 阿桑 sings it really well. It's sad that she passed away at such a young age. D:

Hello! :D

I've just realised that everytime I post, I'll write that "I'm finally here to post"..

I'm so fail hahahahaha~

Anyway, Sec 3 life has been pretty busy, with school work, council, third lang, cca and all, but I'm glad to say that I've survived 2 and 1/2 weeks of school already! :D
Work has been quite a lot, not as bad as I'd imagined though (although it'll probably become worse later), but more or less, I find that it's about the same as Sec 2 life.. /:

301's been great so far, not as mugger-ish as I had thought (or what everyone else thinks), but I guess that there are a lot of hidden muggers in our class hee! Made new friends, cheered up a lot and looking forward to class breakfast on Friday! :D :D :D I guess being positive is really a great help to coping with stress and heavy workload. (:

Even though the song I'm going to put up today is really 不搭 compared to what I've said earlier in this post, I find the lyrics really meaningful!

I'm finally here to blog after 2 months! (:
(Even though this blog is basically dead and no one ever comes here hahahahahaha~)

This blog is basically dedicated to the Secondary 2 China Immersion people! :D I really love you guys loads!

Aiya it feels weird to talk about the China trip now that I've said all the emo emo bits.

You guys have changed me in 10 days, into a better person,
a person who now actually cares much more about people,
and a person who now actually appreciates the presence of gatherings at night (空中会议! <3)!

In 10 days, many friendships were built. I've made friends whom I know I can depend on for my whole life, and it's so amazing because I hardly knew all of you before the China trip! Especially people like Shumin, Hilary, Charissa, Sin Lie, Jermia, Woon Yee, Hao Qing, Sonia, Xin Hui, Shi Chen, Wen Di, Wen Li, Zou Yan, Chunzi and Chia Ying (okay it's a long list I know), I'll remember you guys for lifeeeeeee!

Heee I 特别感谢 Shumin, Woon Yee, Hao Qing and Zou Yan for helping me when I was feeling super cold 'cause you guys lent me your gloves and jacket even though you guys were freezing tooooo! Pink 情侣 gloves with Hao Qing hahahahaha! :D And thanks Zou Yan for lending me your jacket even though you were shivering too~

I was really touched during the period I was feeling unwell, because all of you kept asking if I was okay, and tried to help me as much as you guys can! Ah there are too many people to thank, so I shall make this post quick!

This post is to prevent my blog from going dead dead dead.

Today was a crazy day of chionging LA Poem and Chinese Compo (which I have smartly typed 1800+ words for). I congratulate myself for having have to copy out the 1800+ words later. -.-

Anyway, this song has been my blog song before! :D Till now, I still find the melody very nice~
& just now, while procrastinating, I was crazily listening to 张韶涵's songs, 超级星光大道 (mostly 4 and 5), and trying to find 蔡艾珈's version of 我该得到 in 星光5 (which she got 25 marks for).

Ah well this explains why I take such a long time to do my chinese compo. -.-

I proclaim myself a professor in Procrastination! (Yes I know how ~~wonderful~~ I am hoho.)

Back to the main point! The song I'm going to introduce today is none other than 口袋的天空！(I think you knew it a long time ago!) It's in the OST of 爱杀17 (Bump Off Lover), which I haven't found time to watch the whole thing.

Ah I don't think I'll be able to watch it at night by myself anyway. 8D

Hello~

Grah tomorrow's the interclass debate competition! /: Must Jiayou Jiayou Jiayou! Hope 213 wins ho. :D Anyway, jiayou to 213, jiayou to Joei who's being 三辩, and jiayou to whoever is participating in the competition! :D

It'll be my first debate competition though~ -shudders- Hope my brain doesn't die on me tomorrow. 8D

Haha today I'll be putting a really nice song~ The tune is not weird or anything, so you can heave a sigh of relief. :D I first heard this song in 超级星光大道２ (somehow this is where I always hear the nice songs), and 梁文音 had sung it. Her emotions were overpowering, and even my tears almost came out when I was listening to her sing it. /:

梁文音 had a tear down her cheek right after she finished her song, and if I remember correctly, one of the 评审s said that she had 到达了一个境界. Cool right! :D

And once, when there was a ３０秒清唱 PK for one of the competitors (probably in the same season), I guessed that he would sing this song, and he really did! :D

Oh yea, CLICK HERE if you want to listen to 梁文音's version (Strongly recommended!)! I just realised that amazingly, 梁文音's version has more views that the 原唱's. /:

By the way, the actual version has a part near the ending where she sang it in her original language (the one of her 族, ah whatever you call it :/)! 梁文音 didn't sing it 'cause she had to shorten it in the competition, but she sang the full version for the 超级星光大道２ album!

It's a very sad song! Both singers have different styles, but it's hard to compare. 纪晓君's version is perfectly imperfect (oxymoron, no?), and brings out the emotions really well. :D

Hello! :D　

I'm pretty amazed at how frequently I update my blog now! (: (Most likely because I have too many songs up my head!)

Anyway, the songs I post here may be weird, ho, but I like weird songs (CHINESE TYVM)! :D

The simpler the lyrics are, the harder it is to express it, and I feel that 范晓萱 does it really well. (: The way she sings and everything; it does 感动听者的心．

I first heard this song when I was watching 超级星光大道４ (same as 开到荼靡 haha）I think. 许雨柔 sang this, but in the end she got 淘汰-ed. D:

I used this song in my first SIA piece, and I used these four lines and credited them! :D

Yep, here's the second song!
It may sound really weird to a lot of people though. /: （My taste is weird heh.)

Anyway, the lyrics, including the song name is really cool!
I particularly like this, "一个一个偶像都不外如此，沉迷过的偶像一个个消失".
Makes sense doesn't it?

By the way, this is the song where I got my msn pm from, if you were wondering. :D
The first time I heard this song was when I was watching 超级星光大道４, where 康祯庭 and 许雨柔 were singing it together. (In that version, I personally prefer 许雨柔's voice. :D) Click this if you want to listen to that version. :D

If I'm not wrong, 荼靡 is a type of flower which will never flower again after it has flowered once. Sad ain't it? /:

Somehow, I have the feeling that she's like 黄义达, in the sense that she sings and writes because of her love for music, and does not really care whether her songs are big hits or whatever.

It's a pity that she hasn't come out with a new album yet (at least in Singapore). /:

Hello world!

I'm here to revive this blog at last!

Anyway, I doubt I can 维持 this blog for 1 month (I know how amazing I am -.-) 'cause I don't really post and all. :D

But I'm going to use this blog to post the random songs I like, and make all of you listen! Therefore, this is a song blog! It's quite suitable for me, since I sing everyday in class (I think 213'09 knows that ._.) and I like listening to random songs hoho!

Hello, I'm finally back to update!

Back from Genting Trip! I shall not post the photos up here heh. :D

Day 1
Main Stuff:
1. Finished 一梦三四年 and 蝴蝶飞了
2. Walked around trying to find a nice wallet, ended up with a conclusion that first world is really not a good place to shop.

Day 2
Main Stuff:
1. Was @ Theme Park till closing time. 8D Spent most time on Pirate Ship and high-ing away with cousins while sitting at the very top. Cameraman/woman kept taking pictures of the three of us at night 'cause we were going freehand and were super high.
2. Finished 地下铁

Day 3
Main Stuff:
1. Played a lot of Yunyee's DS. :D

My ability to bore people on my blog explains the state of it (i.e. dead.).

These holidays have been homework + facebooking + goodness knows what else. :D

Okay, Saturday was World Scholars' Cup duty!
It was really fun; I spent most of the day running up and down the whole school, looking for students, judges (!), some random people, serving food, looking at scoresheets (!!), sorting out stuff etc. :D

It looks really fun leh; I was about to regret not joining, then I thought of all the mugging I would have to do. Ooh I can't stand mugging. :D

I saw JACQUELINE! Haha she looks different now. :D

I currently have a dead blog heh. :D

This week is totally packed with stuff! Went to NUS High yesterday with Lucy, Dominique, Moony and Fang Yi to set-up for our blokus game booth. :D There wasn't much setting up actually haha. Dom and I did something really really weird, shan't talk about it heh. Lucy talked about it on her blog haha. Lucy's Blog :D Yay publicity!

Oh speaking of publicity, no one has sent me their banner/ poster designs for YDF. ._.

Ah so today was the Game Carnival first day! Our BLOKUS booth was full of students yay! :D Got really irritated and sick of staring at P4 kids playing blokus after a while though. Oh and I saw Mr Seah! I'm still amazed by the fact that he still remembers who I am.

Lala I post boring stuff. Therefore, I am a boring person. Rawr.

I spent the most of yesterday sleeping, for more than 10 hours.

Zile's one-year birthday (Chinese date)! His English one is next week, doesn't make much of a difference. :D

Hello!

I've opened up my blog again. :D At last.
I guess I won't be able to manage this for long, but ah well, I'll try.

Mr Kuo is leaving! D:
It's really sad, with all the great memories he's given us and all.
Time really passes quickly. A moment ago, it seemed like we just knew him; we were excited to see how he actually was like (from accounts given by seniors). However, before we knew it, 1 term plus a few weeks (including chemistry olympiad) with him was over.

I won't say too much, 'cause it'll just make me feel even worse.
I never knew that the 7-lines "goodbye teacher" could be so so so true. I quote some of them.

WE LOVE YOU, Mr Kuo.

Seriously, when we were saying the 7-lines to him, I couldn't even continue after the second line 'cause I was choked by the tears welling up. All we can hope is that he'll have a great time at the new school (which he refuses to disclose) he'll be teaching at. Or I will personally kick those who give him a hard time.

Ah I have a spastic photo of him. I was taking a photo of him when he decided to shout. ._.

Oops sorry for the blurry picture, but it was the only (spastic) one I managed to take!
